Better Late Than Never!

I hate making New Years Resolutions, so, since it is now the end of January, here are my goals for 2009:

1. To put money into our online savings account at least once a week. This really shouldn't be a goal since this is the whole reason Greg is doing the job that he does, but, we have fallen off the bandwagon.

2. To apply for our passports. Because we never know when we may actually go on a real vacation somewhere warm and tropical! Actually, I filled out the apps when we were in OK over Christmas break and when we went to turn them in and get our picture taken the office was closed. Those apps have mysteriously disappeared. Maybe I should be looking for those instead of blogging since they do have some pretty personal questions on them!

3. To read all of Sophie Kinsella's books. Just because.

4. To write at least the first section of my book. It's going to have 4 sections instead of chapters in case you were wondering.

5. To loose 25 pounds. I've already lost 3!

6. To finish the Harry Potter series. I got a little burned out but I'm ready to pick up the pace again. Please don't tell me who dies in book 7!

7. To pay off our Gordon's account. Because my goal in 2010 is to be completely debt free!

8. To grow my hair out longer. Yes, I know this is technically out of my control.

9. To deep clean the camper at least once a week. Only because I have a neat freak husband.

10. To actually get the pictures that are taking up space on my laptop printed, labeled, and in a photo album. I'm dreading this one. I used to be so organized, but apparently slacked off somewhere around 2006.

What are your goals this year??

So, is knitting on the list anywhere?
And, can ya help a girl out with her own "Ear bling" resolution?

Weird... I LOVE the fact that I can now have my pictures on the computer and DON'T have to print them of and put them in an album... ;-)

You will never catch me actually scrapbooking. After watching my sister I know it's way too expensive and I personally think it looks boring to do. But I love to look at them! So tell B good luck! I wouldn't want to be in her shoes!

Heidi-what are some of your fave colors? I'll see what I can do!

Nora-You crack me up! I just like having my pics in albums so they are easier to look at. Call me old fashioned!

Here here on the passport thing. We're doing it one at a time so we don't have a huge chunk of money coming out. Joe got his in the mail last week. Now it's my turn.

Congrats on the 3 pounds. I'm jealous. I think if I bought a scale I might have better results...you know, a constant remind of how chubby I've gotten.

Now, get to cleaning!

Clean, that's that?
Scraping doesn't have to be expensive, I just like it that way. (shhh, Andy doean't know how much I spend!!) Besides, You can use all my stuff when you are around. : )
You do have control over your hair, eat right and don't cut it!
Hop to them passports. Lets go out of the country together, we need the baby's first.
What is Gordon's?

I highly recommend Sophie Kinsella's books!! I loved the Shopaholic series especially and I'm afraid that the movie coming out looks to be a flop (but I will watch it anyway.) Good luck with your resolutions! You are posting yours at the end of January and I have yet to even make mine.

I somehow cannot get over the fact of you guys not having a passport but just the license to identify yourself... here this would not even work within the country. How do people that do not have a license identify themselves? And how much is it to get a passport? You need one so you can come and visit me!!! :-D
