A Short One

This just in: I have officially lost 10 pounds!!! Woot! Woot!

I think this is a result of the fact that I started a new work out regime this week, which I think is really working, as well as my awesome breakfast smoothies.

However, as I type, I'm forcing myself to drink the worst smoothie yet. Remember how I mentioned that my mom sent me a blueberry smoothie recipe? Well, the ingredients said to use any type of fruit juice. The only fruit juice we keep on hand is Tang (back off, my husband is hypoglycemic) so I figured why not? Ummm...yeah. Don't ever try mixing blueberries and tang. And I don't necessarily think that Tang is what is making it so bad. The recipe called for 2 cups of blueberries, but I just used 1, and there is so much blueberry skin that I literally have to chew...it's just kind of weird. Thanks anyway, Mom!

OK, I vow that my next post will not be about smoothies!

Thanks girls! I have never had sushi, but have always wanted to try. Especially since I love seafod! But, I want to go with a sushi vetran if you know what I mean!

Thank you! My new work out still for now includes Curves MWF and then I'm doing a weekly plan with a friend of mine. this week:

30 minuts of power walking at 3.5-4 mph (4 days)
30 sets of lunges (2 days)

Let me tell ya, I've been feeling it with the power walking! Talk about sweaty! Whew!
Next week I think the time incresases and we add some more excersises.

Ha, now we have another thing on the to-do list next time we get to see each other: Go and eat sushi. Excellent! :-) I have so much to do around here today (four loads of laundry), I am looking forward to the vacation. Mail me if you get a chance!

Blueberries... Tang... chewey? Yeah, I'm with Greg on the bacon and eggs, but congrats on the 10 pounds anyway. Now the strawberry-banana ones sound pretty good. I get those at Sonic sometimes. And, I'm sure those are just as healthy ;-)

Ha... the stupid word verification thing is caloric. Like calorie. Kind of fits with your post. I kept trying to spell it calory. And that wasn't working. Okay... I think it's time for bed.
